If you're in the market for a solid new podcast to check out, I've got you covered.
Mike Rowe, of "Dirty Jobs" fame, has a killer podcast. If you're a fan of great storytelling, endless wit and random knowledge all wrapped into very short episodes, "The Way I Heard It" is for you.
Each episode is no more than 10-12 minutes and always features a story with a curious, but true twist at the end. The surprisingly unique stories behind well-known topics like celebrities before they were celebrities, how popular products like the microwave or slurpee came to be and more keep you guessing what he's talking about until the very last line when he reveals the twist.
Brief enough for even your shortest commutes, you can't go wrong with any of them, but episodes 2, 35 and 38 are amongst my favorites:
